Global SaaS PRM Leader Impartner Taps Akamai Channel Head as Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances
For Immediate Release
Proven channel exec Mark Rogers latest in a string of top tech hires as Impartner positions for continued nearly double year-over-year growth
Silicon Slopes, Utah — December 4, 2015 — Global SaaS Partner Relationship Management (PRM) technology leader Impartner today announced it has appointed Akamai's former Americas channel chief, Mark Rogers, as vice president of business development and strategic alliances. Rogers, who has also held global executive business development and channel roles with Novel, Intel and IBM, is responsible for establishing global strategic partnerships with industry leading consulting firms and CRM vendors and building out Impartner's global channel partner ecosystem.
In the past six months, we've doubled our team with a continual stream of top talent, which is indicative of the explosive growth and momentum of the PRM market, said Impartner CEO Joe Wang.
As we head into 2016, companies that sell through indirect channels are realizing that their PRM solution is equally as important to their business success as their CRM. We're confident Mark's channel and business development DNA will continue to strengthen that trend for Impartner and the industry.
It's a perfect storm of opportunity, said Rogers.
With the shortage in sales talent, particularly in technology, the realization that customer experience for indirect sales starts with the Partner Portal, and with the overwhelming demand for better visibility into indirect sales performance, the PRM industry is absolutely poised to be the next CRM. I can't think of a more critical industry to be a part of.
