Veteran Marketer the Latest to Join Executive Team after Investment from Kennet Partners and Joe Wang
Salt Lake City, Utah — April 16, 2015 — TreeHouse Interactive™ (www.treehousei.com), the technology leader in turnkey partner relationship management (PRM) solutions, today announced that Dave R. Taylor has joined the executive team as chief marketing officer. The news comes one week after the company's appointment of Bert Young to chief financial officer. The software company is continuing to broaden its leadership team in preparation for its next wave of market success and further anticipated growth. Last month, co-investors Kennet Partners and Joe Wang joined forces to acquire the majority ownership of the leading SaaS-based partner relationship management (PRM) platform provider.
Dave's impressive track record and global marketing experience will be of enormous benefit to our company's next phase of growth, said Joe Wang, chairman and chief executive officer of TreeHouse Interactive.
TreeHouse's careful selection of top performers for our expanding leadership team in the PRM marketplace will be instrumental in facilitating our growth as a company. We are very excited about the important role that Dave will play in furthering this advancement as our new CMO.
Taylor brings more than two decades of marketing experience—and a legacy of success in building high-tech businesses—to his new role as CMO at TreeHouse. He most recently served as vice president of marketing, product and corporate strategy at WatchGuard Technologies. In that role, Taylor's product strategy and marketing execution was key in transforming WatchGuard into the most highly awarded company in the network security space. Prior to WatchGuard, Taylor co-founded Sparxent, a rollup of value-added service providers in the mid-market space, which grew to more than $50M of annualized revenue within two years.
Taylor also held sales and marketing roles at LANDesk Software for more than a decade, serving as vice president of worldwide sales, vice president of strategic alliances, and vice president of worldwide marketing. In these capacities, he was part of the executive team that orchestrated the spinoff of LANDesk out of Intel. With Taylor's contribution, over four years, LANDesk grew more than 30 percent CAGR as an independent company. He spent five years of his career with Intel Corporation in the United Kingdom, serving as general manager of Intel EMEA. Taylor holds an MBA from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management.
My first introduction to TreeHouse was as a customer, looking to expand my former company's marketing reach through our indirect partner channel, said Taylor.
We had considered building our own partner portal (very expensive for less functionality) or simply cobbling together a solution on our CRM platform (even more expensive for even less functionality). I was amazed at the functionality TreeHouse offered out of the box. Now, I'm delighted to be part of the team that leads the market in turnkey partner relationship management solutions, and I'm looking forward to making a significant contribution to TreeHouse's continued growth and success.
TreeHouse's total overall revenue grew 49 percent in 2014 over 2013, and its Reseller View™ PRM platform supports global partner networks for industry leading enterprises including Xerox, Rackspace, Sungard AS, CommVault and National Instruments.
